As you all know I am running a car related collectibles business. This is one of the products that I am carrying. Playing cards. Four types of series are available :
1) Japanese Nostalgic Cars
2) Japanese Performance Cars
3) Proton Cars
4) Rally Cars

Each pack consists of 30 cars with their own specifications. Price wise is RM 12 per pack. Printing is done using high quality paper and great finishing. Payment is via bank in for local (Malaysia) and Paypal for overseas.

We are looking for agents to distribution also...

I am into the toy car business now and I am also offering customized car models that are unique and limited units built at reasonable prices. However, there are certain people who think it's funny by pressing my price further down even though I had given them discounts. To me it's not funny as all these models are repainted, specially detailed and some have alot of tempos of them. If you like it, pay the price that I quote. I don't think USD 10 for a customized car is too much right?

I need to pay my bills, petrol fees, my operating cost, my paints and modeling tools and also the effort taken to make every models unique! Usually these kind of people are the one that like to scalp other people and on the other way, you must sell things to them cheaply. You know who you are..

These are my works... If they are worth that less than USD 10, please do it yourself !

Modified this from a Hotwheels Lancer Evolution X. Chopped off the rear wing and extend the rear using plastic cards and filler putty. A simple conversion. The rear window is original from the clear parts that I modify to fit the rear window frame. Enjoy it!

Restoration of a Tomica Lancer Evolution IV

I had one Tomica Evo IV Rally which was in bad condition with paint chips everywhere and missing one headlamp. Thus I decided to restored it. Color is silver and I scratched build the front lamps. Rims are taken from Hotwheels Lancer Evo X. Hope you guys like it.

1/24 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution II GSR

his model completes my Evolution collection. Now I have 1 to 10 Evolution's in my collection. However this is not an original Evo 2 kit, this Evo 2 is converted from Evo 1 kit with added front lip and modified rear spoiler together with a new set of OZ Enkei rims frm Lancer Evo V Rally (Hasegawa).

The bodykit conversion is done by druid_99 and his workmanship is amazingly superb!!! It looks very very OEM like the original Hasegawa kit ! However there is a problem, some paint sipped through the windows clear part and I can't remove it via brake oil. So i sanded and polish it and there's a fine scratch on the driver sides window. However, I think it's tolerable since it's not a big big problem like the body wrap or anything.. Enjoy !

Thanks druid ! This is a perfect conversion and a final chapter of my Evolution street collection. Now , who is going to help me get my Evo 2 Rally so i can complete 1 to 7 rally machines?

The front and rear lights housing have been wrapped using aluminium foil to give a more realistic effect !

1/24 Fujimi Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR

Simple OOB Build. There's one big mistake here. The rear bonnet, I didn't notice there are some dirty stains after i wetsand the body and I cleared it together. Luckily the stains are very fine. This taught me a lesson to clean the body again after wetsanding before clear coating. Some minor oversand which is touch up using yellow paint. Overall, I think it's quite decent.

A crazy thing happened. When I fixed everything, except the spoiler and side mirrors, the model feel down and parts broke! Luckily no paint chip if not I will go crazy!!!! Enjoy!

It has a big track, 2 cars and 2 exchangeable bodies! It's lovely if you ask me. Play it? Nah...I will just keep it like that. Actually I bought this because I am a fan of Lightning McQueen :P

Being a Mitsubishi fan, it's very sad to hear that it's subsidiary, RALLIART will be winding down. It's them who brought Lancer Evolutions to fame in the world of rally. Besides that Proton rally cars also used RALLIART tune parts in their cars. Hope to see it resurface again one day.

1/24 Mitsubishi Starion (FUJIMI)

This kit is totally rubbish especially the chassis and the way to fit the tyres. I made mistakes but not visible.Just plain OOB build. The only mistake I did it I didn't putty the inner part of the sunroof lines thus making the lines visible abit on the roof. Overall, if given a chance to build another kit of the Starion, I will refuse.

Again, I went to that toy shop which I found my first KO Evo X Yukes Team Orange and saw one KO Evo X Yukes Team on sale. I prompted the girl and asked if it is for sale and she mentioned it's not because it's been rejected by a customer because it's not working. So came the lady boss and she said I can have it and she will swap the body to the working chassis and I got it ! Thanks to her and I think it's an Evo fever for me once again ! First the blue one, now the true Yukes Orange Team Evo !!! Yes !!!

This is a really cool Evo X from the Speed Machine series. It's an Evo X with Ralliart liveries all over it and with CM Wheels. It's double the price of basic cars but this one is worth buying. There are other cars in the series that are worth buying also but my priority now are Evo's .. no matter fake or licensed products. Just bag them !

1/24 Audley Drift Series Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III

Originally, this KO car comes together with the KO Initial D series that Audley produced years ago. However, while the others retailed at RM 39.90, only this Evo 3 retailed at RM 79.90 and that was 4 years ago. So I skipped and hope the price will drop. However, I never see it again.

My recent visit to Jusco gave me a shock. I spotted this Evo 3 in a new packaging that is Drift series and means it can drift. There are two colors, yellow and black and I ended up buying the black version. First thing is to remove the stickers and it looks great. I suspect that the mould comes from the Fujimi Lancer Evolution III. It's up for you guys to judge.... and i got it for RM 59.90.. cheaper than the previous one..

There's another Evo VI TME that I will buy sooner or later !

KO Ford GT90 Toy Custom

Ford GT90 is my all time FAVOURITE concept car. I first saw it in Need For Speed II when I was ten and I fell in love with it. I am unwilling to pay RM 200 ++ for a 1/18 Maisto but i had two Hotwheels Mini version.

Suddenly, I spotted this toy (plastic) at a local hypermarket for two bucks and I bought it instantly and customizing it. I believe the scale is 1/18. Originally it's orange + silver + some stickers, heavy mold lines and undetailed. So I removed the stickers and mold lines, and gave it a new life with detailing on it.

At least I am satisfy now as I had a large scale Ford GT90 although it's a KO version and quality is non on par with the original Maisto 1/18 :(

Initially is a coinbox from Public Bank. My first attempt to restore few years back is a disaster. ABut recently, I Found it laying around and decided to restore it again hwoever can't do much as the casting is not perfect liao due to previous attempt. I fixed the crack on the front by gluing it back and putty. Rims and tyres are donor front a cheapo China toy car...

My father followed this progress clsoely as he's driving one too with almost similar color.His 1/1

If my memory serves me well, only Tomica produce the Evo VII GTA model. Originally, it's in dark silver color and the paint has some bubbling in it. Thus I decided to give it a new paint job, and a new rim swap. The rear light are scratch built using 'Hotwheels card' as I lost the original one. Enjoy!

Exchange Custom Build (Danielh & Cham2020) :Hotwheels Evo X

A few days ago, I had a discussion with danielh. We decided to have an exchange custom build. In other words, his custom will go to me and my custom will go to him. We decided on using the Evo X as the base car and the theme is flexible and it's mean to surprise the opposite party. Thus, I choose to custom it into the Japanese Police Car theme. Why ? Because danielh had a Subaru police car and it would make a great combination to have the Evo X side by side. It is not perfect though because it's been ages since i did customize cars. Anyway, do enjoy. It's for you , daniel !

The siren is made from donor Japanese police toy car and the wordings are hand written. Sorry, I can't write Chinese because I am Chinese illiterate although I am Chinese! Hope you guys enjoy......

However, I was patient enough and lastly this casting hit the Malaysia market and I got a few pieces of it. I'ts a tooned version with an oversized engine at the rear. 1/24 Aoshima Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X

It's like a blessing for an Evolution fan like me when Aoshima released the Evo X model kit with option part (BBS Rims). It's like an American dream come true. This kit is a perfect kit and the best kit I ever build since the Evo VI Tamiya. Parts are well moulded, fitment is perfect and an easy kit to build. I would rate this kit a PERFECT 10 !

Color is Premium Silver and you can see the difference on it with the Evolution I GSR colour scheme. However, due to the lack of building, some flaws are there on the paint job but not visible on photos. But it's not serious. Enjoy the photos !

I was shocked to find out that Kinsmart actually did a Rally Version of the Subaru Impreza driven by Peter Solberg. Everything is well detailed on this car and openable doors with door trims! For RM 19.90, it's a great bargain. I hope Kinsmart will do the WRC Lancer as well :(

This is the result of watching too much Fast and Furious. Base kit a Fujimi kit and the dragon tempos are tatoo's..... ! To enhance the rice looks, a bit TYPE R sticker was slapped to the rear mirror and a single riced wiper system was introduced... It's lot of fun building this joker machine.. !

Thanks Daniel for customizing one of this beauty for me ! It's a Proton PERT MK2 driven by Karamjit Singh in the Group N category rally. It's based on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII.

This custom is done by Daniel, a professional customizer and car modeller. Everything is done attention to detail. This casting is from the 2008 Hotwheels Trackstar Evo VII and he manage to transform an ugly casting to a perfect Karamjit Singh Machine!!!

When I bought a bulk of Initial D cars (small scales), this Evo III found its way into it. It is small, cute and pretty. This car is driven by Sudo Kyojuchi (team Emporer) in the Initial D series. Featuring fulltime 4WD system and a turbocharged engine, this car is the best of it's class. No jokes, as the Lancer Evo III wons several titles in the WRC before !

Papercraft Cars :PERT Rally Cars

Remembered I posted a Proton Wira rally papercraft here before? I found two more of the PERT rally cars that I did ages ago when I tidied my collection room. They are the Legendary Proton Iswara 4wd Turbo and the Proton PERT MK2 ( the Evo VII ).

If you ask me to design all these all over again with realistic looks, I think I can't do it anymore. I can't even use Microsoft Paint properly now to draw all the details on the body. Enjoy it !

This lovely car model just arrived today from Spain. It's such a beauty. I been eying on this model for a long time but due to ridiculous prices I passed it. Patience is a virtue. I got it for quite a low price and it's mint! But I don't know what company makes it? JDMike, do you know? I guess you have the same model too right ??

Tommi Makinnen Lancer Evo V WRC

Finally I finished it.. This is my 3rd rally car after the Evo VI and the Proton PERT. This is quite tough to build and lots of painting required. I weathered it ( I am addicted to dirty rally cars ) and I find it lovely.. There are flaws though during decaling and I touched up a little... The only thing I didn't apply is the seats rear CF decal. Rest it is OOB.. Lovely kit from Tamiya..

Thanks to bro sky_tokyodrifter (a fellow modeler in Malaysia who is residing in Japan) who got me this RARE kit at a good price!

Lets talk a bit of history.. The GALANT VR4 is proven too big and heavy for the WRC events. Thus Mitsubishi's engineer decided to use the Lancer platform and transform it to a 4wd turbocharged rally machine. Thus the Lancer Evolution GSR is born replacing the Galant VR4 in rally events. It's a beast!

Next, will be Evo II. Hopefully I can find the kit !

1/24 Maisto Nissan GTR

The Nissan GTR model is highly sought by collectors around the world. This is the Maisto version of the GTR in the 1/24 scale. Well, the casting is pretty accurate however, the paint job is a bit disappointing because the paint job is a bit rough and the rear lamps are painted instead of made of clear red plastics.

However, the engine detail ( although half engine ) it is pretty decent for it's scale. The interior is also well replicated too. Well, Maisto is improving alot and proven value for money models for collectors.

Custom Volkswagen Beetle (For Evelyn Dear..)

Well, it is an ordinary friction toy which I bought years ago. The scale is approx between 1/18 to 1/24. Well can't judge much. I gave it a repaint in pink, blackout the windows as the interior sucks, and added details to the car.

This build is for my girlfriend actually. She likes the VW Beetle so much that I decided to custom one Hello Kitty version for her. The words on the body are written by myself using markers and the 'Evelyn + Andrew' wording are handwritten and sticked to the body. I also bought some Hello Kitty stickers to make it look lovely and sweet.

14th February 2009 is the date when we started out to be couples. So dear, this custom is for you. Only special for you. Hope you like it.

Here is my latest build. The Lancer Evo VII RS. I bought this kit just for the steel rims. I think this kit is a beauty and pity not much people appreciate those steel rims (although HTF item)

I don't know how some glue stain ( very minor ) found its way on the left door ( below the handle )and a little paint chip at the mesh area..still I consider it a sweet build though it's not my best build..

The Evo RS reminds me of Proton PERT (BFA 876) which was originally a RS spec Evo III...

Custom Proton Wira (Facelifted)

It is currently weathered because it's one of the models that I custom during my early days of modelling and doing so I can hide some mistakes. Do you guys like this custom Proton Wira?
It's customized to a newer and facelifted version. (Looks like a Proton Wira 1.8 DOHC LE)

This is initially a coin box from Public Bank. I sealed up to hole at the rear mirror and painted it flat black. Next, i modified the front grill and the rear lamps to a newer version. I lost the clear parts for the front lamp and i build it using transparency. The rear lamps are using te same way.
Initially, it has a spoiler but I remove it because it's ugly. There is also a front lip from Proton Putra which I scratched build from plastic cards.

1/32 British Civic Type R

The sleek design of the latest Honda Civic Type R for the European market is totally astonishing. It looks like a car from the future. From every angle, the car looks perfect and beautiful. Unfortunately, performance wise, it looses to EP3 and the FD2R( Japanese Domestic Market) Civic. This due to the heavy body, insufficient engine power to handle the weight and lastly , and the torsion beam suspension setting (a bad move by Honda) which kills all the fun.

However, is it still a good car and I not surprise when I spotted this diecast for sale quite sometime ago. The scale is 1/32 and manufactured by Great Faith (I never heard of this brand before). The quality of this diecast is decent. No molding lines round the body, the sparkling and shiny black paint job and the nice ride height. The lamps are painted clear plastics and not painted details which makes it more realistic.

However the interior is bland. Can't complain much for a cheap model. Here are some photos of the British Type R. Enjoy !

Well, sorry for the lack of updates on my blog. Alot of things happened recently I was not in the mood of blogging. Now I am feeling better and decided to post one of my precious collection. You read it right. It is the Proton Wira.

Well, it's not a model exactly and it is meant as a toy but to me it's a decent replica of the Proton Wira, our Malaysian national car. I remembered when I was a little boy, my dad brought me to Parkson where I spotted the Proton Wira toy for sale at RM 24.90. The scale was roughly bigger than 1/18 and that time lots of colors were offered. My dad bought me one, and ordered another one through mail. I was so delighted that time.

Next, Public Bank also offfered it as a coinbox and I got two of them. Well, honestly, I lost three of them ! But one remain but not this one. I found this while shopping at Taisheng in Singapore in 2006 . I took it and see it. It's a bump and go toy. Wierd. Colored in red and silver, it's hedious. So my friend asked the shop seller if it is for sale since it was displayed at the cabinet. He said if you want it you can have it for SD 8. That's ridiculous cheap after 10 years !

Next, when I got it, I decided to repaint it and detailed it. So this is how it looks like. I really love this replica to the bits as it is hard to obtain now. Next post will be a custom Proton Wira that i modified from a coinbox given by Public Bank.

Please, if anyone is letting go this, let me know. I will appreciate it very much.

1/24 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI Rally (NZ)

I built this model almost one and a half year ago. That time this is my first attempt at rally cars. This is a Tamiya 1/24 Evo VI Rally (New Zealand Rally) driven by Tommi Makinen. Well, being my first rally car, I decided to keep things simple. The body color , interior are almost accurate. But the chasssis are paint flat black as the chassis is too colorful and I am lack of colors. Well, decided to weather it a bit. What you guys think?

I have another version of it built up as the Proton PERT MK1 Rally and another one still unfixed. Maybe I will do the Freddy version or either convert it to another Proton MK2 Hokkaido Rally as I have leftover decals from the Proton PERT decals( produced by Studio 27)

TOMY Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII RC...

Well, as the great fan of the Mitsubishi Evo, I should not miss this car in my collection. However, I can't figure out the reason while I didn't buy it last time and I can't find it anywhere after that. Luckily, I made a trade with Tom, a Vietnam collector and got this! Thanks Tom !!

Well, nothing much to complain as this is meant to be a remote control car toy. The body shape is accurate and stickers for lamps, mesh , and side mirrors are given. The scale is between 1/24 to 1/30. Soon, I will post another TOMY RC car that is the AE86 once i finish assembling it.

Motormax 1/18 Acura NSX

Acura NSX is the American branding for the original Honda NSX that debuted in Japan in the early 90's. It has a rear engine and rear wheel drive system and was powered by an all-aluminumV6 gasoline engine featuring Honda's unique "variable valve timing and lift electronic control" VTEC system. (Sourced from Wikipedia)

Back to this model, I always loved Motormax 1/18 diecasts. They provide good detail cars model at a low price. This Acura NSX model features opeable engine hood, front bonnet, and doors. Everything is detail from the engine block and there's a decent interior for it.

The paint job is blue in color and it's well done to me. Well, at least it's better than Maisto's paintjob quality. Lastly, it's a worth model to have in my collection as I am a Japanese car freak.

Proton Wira Rally Project (1/24 Scale) Progress

Well, there has been progress regarding my project that is replicating the Proton PERT in 1/24 scale. The base kit used will be the Hasegawa Evolution III kit. Basically,it will have a basic rally interior and all the rally livery. Wondering whose car I will replicate? Of course the legendary Karamjit Singh and his co driver Allen Oh's car that participate in the Network Q rally years ago.

So this is the car that I will be replicating. Base on the photos, I manage to use my Photoshop skills and rebuild some sponsors and stickers that are hard to find online and reference photos.

Now I manage to get all the livery correctly, I lay them out on my papercraft version of the Proton Wira rally so that it will be easier for my friend (Hanzel Chocas from Philipines) to resize and redraw them. It's like a dream come true to replicate one of my favourite rally cars all time.

Papercraft: Proton Wira 4WD Rally

Well, Proton Wira rally is a machine based on the legendary Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III. It is basically a rebadge of the Evo and driven by the flying 'Singh' that is Karamjit Singh and he is a legend.

I got this idea to do the papercraft version of the Wira a few years ago. That time I was still new thus it's not that good in terms of texturing. I just did it because there's no way I can purchase a kit/transkit or a diecast version of it. Just don't think I am wierd because I do simple papercrafts too.

1/10 Remote Control Ferrari FXX

Weird stuff ! It's a knock off product from a China company. Well, however, it manage to capture the features of the real Ferrari FXX. Such madness. Everything well replicated and the details are all correct except for the Ferrari embleems and the FXX wording (I removed it).

The front and rear lamps can light on when you push it fordward or reserve with the remote. Such a beauty. I never see a well made knock off RC before in my life and for RM 70, tt's worth paying the money.

Here it is with a Hotwheels basic car, so figure how big is this Ferrari FXX remote control car.

Matchbox Volkswagen Thing

It is also known as Volkwasgen 181 'Kurrierwagon'. This car had a nice history but I will not elaborate on it. Well, I spotted this little diecast hanging around at a local hobby shop and decided to buy a few pieces of it as it is a beauty and a classic to me. Well, the yellow paint is not so well done but can't blame it due to yellow is a hard color to apply. Details are all painted and makes the 'Thing' looks better. It is a must for every Matchbox collector if you ask me.

Tamiya 1/24 Honda City QQ.

This is a 1/24 scale model kit. It doesn't require any glue for assembly. So it makes the work kind of easy. Just snap and lock ! How easy is that! I build it two years ago, well how time flies !! The color choosen is pearl purple over red and the effect is quite nice if you ask me. The rear windows are tinted due to reason the masking tape problem that pull out the paint when you remove them.
Well, still I love this car as it's a cute small car... It's the first generation of the Honda City. How time flies, we now have the fourth generation !

Majorette Rally Cars Part 2

I am a big fan of rallies doesn't matter if it's a local scene rally or international rallies. They really abuse the car to the limits and prove how reliable these cars are. Majorette really do some good rally cars for 1/64 scales and I find them appealing although they lack interiors and finishing.
The ones I got are Peugeot 307 WRC, Citroen C2 Andros and C4 Citroen Sports Concept. Well, I need more.....!! So, I will look for more rally cars from Majorette in the future !

Hotwheels Pikes Peak Celica

In my opinion, these two color variation for year 2008 is the best ever being released. Well, I painted the front lamps using Tamiya aluminum enamel color. This car had gone under 3 rebuilds and this will be the final one. However, the finishing is not that good as the project had been pending for 2 years !! How time flies but I manage to finish it. Here are the list of modification and specification of the build.

Initial D Mazda RX-7 (FD3S)

I had always been a fan of Initial D. Spending a great amount of time and money on the arcades, buying the comic's (some only) and models. This is my first 1/24 Initial D model kit. It's from Fujimi. Well, it is quite decent to me. Although it had a generic chassis but overall it still looks great.!

Color is chrome yellow the decals are sealed under a clear coat. Well, some of you might find the panel lines are dark and I do think so. Maybe I shold tone them down. As it's too contrast with the yellow body color. The only thing I did was drilled holes for the side mirrors so I don't have to glued the side mirrors to the body and cause the paint to melt. So from one photo, you can see the side mirrors is retractable. (Thanks to zenlim for the idea).

I am building an AE86 for a friend and it's 60% complete. Soon after Chinese New Year, it will be completed !!!Enjoy !

AMT Mitsubishi Eclipse Fast and Furious Edition

Well, be gentle on me as this is my first AMT kit. Well, my comment are the bad decals( really hate it man !!) ,no gauges ,meter decals, some fitment issues, no wipers and a bad height ride which I noticed the front his higher than the rear a little but loo late, as I fixed it already. I encountered some problems and I will take note in my future AMT builds. I did some changes to this model..

Shell James Bond Cars Collection..

When I first heard about the release of James Bond car by Shell, i was totally thrilled !! Why? The reason is simple. I am a hardcore fan of James Bond actually. That's why. I have watched all the 22 Bond movies and simply love that guy. But don't worry, I am straight.

Well, I manage to have 2 sets of this Bond cars. The consist of 5 per set. They are:
1) Aston Martin DB5
2) Alpina Sunbeam
3) Lotus Espirit
4) BMW Z3
5) Aston Martin DBS

However, to get one, you need to pump RM 40 worth of petrol, then you get to purchase it for RM 5.50 each.Well, the best part of this set is that it comes with acrylic casings. That's why there are people who bought them just for the casing alone. Anyway, I found that some cars are decently done and some are poorly done. The photos will reveal it though so let the photos do the talking.

Oh ya! You guys must be wondering whose is the manufacturer of these cars. Although it's stated Tic Toc at the base, I do suspect it's actually Corgi. Why? Because I did a simple search and I found that the BMW Z3 of Corgi resembles the Shell promotion BMW Z3. Well, I don't know why they did that though...(if it's true)..

Well, if you guys are discarding the cars just for the sake of the casing, let me know. I am interested to have some loose to be displayed.

Maisto 1/24 Chrysler ME Four-Twelve

I am not quite a fan of American cars actually. But this Chrysler car caught my attention a year ago when I was shopping for some 1/18 Lamborghini's. I find the design is attractive and it's considered a supercar. However, due to some conflicts with Mercedes, they never got the fastest production car title as the car never got into production. Such as pity as it's rumored to be faster than the McLaren F1 itself!

Maisto did a decent job on this and I know i been saying this for quite sometimes. Honestly, Maisto deserve a pat on their back because they been producing great looking budget models.
Doors and engine hood can be open to reveal the interior and engine respectively. There is a dissappointment because the seatbelts are moulded together with the seats however, I can still live with it.

Well, if you guys want to get this model, do it fast as I don't see it anywhere anywhere already. Good luck for hunting!

Fujimi Evo VIII Ralliart (1/24)

This is a decent kit to me. Except for the decals which are real bad and tore easily. I touched up some parts with a silver sharpie. The silver decals are wierd. Once yo clear coat, some kind of wierd texture will surface from different angles. I should have mask and spray it !! Well, I am kind of disappointed with the decals. That's all.

Well, this is a rebuild actually. My god, it was one of a model that I can say one of my low quality builds in term of paintjob because the body surface isn't smooth due to damage done caused by low grit sandpaper and I am lazy to repair it.

Color is pink? Oh my god. I can't actually believe I choose this color for a Skyline. Well, next is the wing from the R34 GTR Skyline. It does fit nicely right? Rims are perfect fit on this baby and the donor is from Mitsubishi Evolution VI. Interior seats are Recaro's from Fujimi Evo's.

The best part of this build is the windows. I screwed up the original windows and those are scratch build using transparencies. Well, I hope you guys like the details that I put on it. After this, I will have more Evo's coming up, one of them is Evo VIII Ralliart...
